  Weather predictions on television are watched by millions, yet few understand what actually causes changes in temperature, wind velocity and the amount of sunshine each day. This program takes the mystery out of weather and allows students to attempt their own predicitions. It uses full-color photographs and meterological maps to examine the major factors that affect weather, various types of weather phenomena, the basic vocabulary of weather observation and the instruments that are used to trace weather patterns.
