  Designer drugs, often described as "club drugs," are a class of illegal drugs that are designed in clandestine laboratories. Like some fictional "Frankenstein" creature concocted by a mad scientist, these synthetic drugs can "strike back" at its users by causing physically and emotionally damaging effects that can even result in death. In this program, students will learn exactly what designer drugs are as well as become introduced to some types of designer drugs that are recreationally abused. The association that designer drugs have with the Rave and club scenes will also be explored. In the end, viewers will be exposed to safety methods for "surviving" a Rave and staying away from the grave. |
