  This eye-opening program dramatizes the inner pain and turmoil experienced by teenage mothers. No punches are pulled in this real-life video diary of Kyra, a teenager with a 3-year-old child. Through the use of flashbacks, Kyra brings to light the events that resulted in her current situation: living at home with her mother, working at a dead-end job, and having little or no contact with her child’s father. As Kyra’s diary unfolds, it becomes apparent that being a teenage mother presents many obstacles to a teenager’s life. Her dreams of having a relationship with the child’s father don’t materialize. She misses being with her friends who are busy with teenage pursuits. She is in conflict with her mother, who alternates between wanting to help Kyra out and wanting her to accept her own responsibilities.
