  Obession. What is it that begins a seemingly impossible attraction between two who are so different and then grows into an all encompassing force that can rule ones very existence? Somewhere, within the fragile human heart, there may lie an answer, a place where infatuation has overtaken the very soul. W. Somerset Maugham's classic "Of Human Bondage" is such a story. For in it we find, almost inexplicably, the infatuation of a gentleman doctor drawn to a working class waitress. The wonderful Bette Davis stars in a performance which noted critic Leonard Maltin exclaims "is powerfully impressive" and "put her on the map in Hollywood."
